BACKGROUND
Otter Box asked AMD to design a modular display for their number one selling smartphone and tablet cases. Inline with securing product, it was crucial to understand the consumer experience and their interactions with the product when designing the Otter Box display.
EXECUTION
Balancing design and function in a secure fashion, AMD created a modular electronic display allowing customers to interact with the product and see it from all sides. The design also enables Otterbox to update it with new products and artwork without changing the entire display.
RESULTS
Otter Box has reported to have found the display to be easy to use, meets the customers interactive needs, the stores security concerns and the interchangeable components allow the stores a cost effective way to refresh product and branding artwork.
